Let’s Talk About Eye Creams
Now that we’re ((#StayingHome? #DirumahAja?)) , let’s talk about eye creams! Honestly, who wants to keep dark circles under their eyes?
Before we dive into the topic, my skin type is dry and I used to put on Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. It has great reviews everywhere and it actually did a good job to my eye area. But lately, I have been short on sleep time. No matter how late I sleep, I would only sleep for 2-3 hours and wake up pretty early. Yes, I’m an early bird. Imagine how dark those eye circles. So I decided to try other eyecream products that helps brighten the under eyes. Now that I think Kiehl’s products are perfect for my skin, I decided to use their other eyecream product. I went to one of their stores and the advisor recommended me try out their Powerful Strength Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate. Not only it brightens my under eye areas, it also helps reduce the fine lines. On the side note, the texture takes a bit more time to absorb. But overall it’s doing a pretty good job on my skin, no allergic reaction, no burning sensation, and no small spots indicating rejection to my skin. The size I bought is 15ml and it costs Rp 700K, while on the other hand their Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado product would only cost around Rp 400K – Rp 500K. A little bit pricey, but worth the price. Also the pump makes it easy for me to apply in the small amount, but enough coverage for the overall skin area. Here are the details:
Before and after use for a month I took the photos with iPhone 11 Pro Max so you could see the details, the darkness, and the fine lines. After a month of usage I’m so glad I noticed the better changes every time I look in the mirror every morning! But of course dark circles aren’t something that just go away in a flash, everything has process and time. So I’m gonna give you more reviews after 3 months of usage.
Will I keep using Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate, or will I use another eyecream product? What do you think?
Bonus: no flash photo, no make up on skin. If you’re wondering what lip tint on my lips, it’s The Body Shop’s! I love how natural it looks on my lips.
