If you’ve been following my Instagram, you might notice that I’ve never talked about underscarves (inner hijab) because I never really used one before. I’ve tried a wide range of underscarves, nothing was my liking. The materials wouldn’t be breathable or sweat absorbent, pilling, and even get loose or worn out easily. Circa 2019, I started to get head over heels for light, airy scarves because they make my outfits look put together nicely. But the thing about light and airy scarves is that you gotta
wear an underscarf to hold your hijab in shape and keep your hair from showing off, don’t you think? Finally, Lafiye has recently launched it’s underscarves! Lafiye Pou Inner Hijab is currently available in black, white, cream, and more color to come soon. The 3 colors are versatile as
they’re basic and essential for your closet. You can wear the white one under your soft and pastel colored scarves, black to pair up with dark scarves, and cream for brown or anything since it’s a neutral color.

Care to assure you, the material is breathable, stretchy, and not easy to pill! I tried wearing it on my hiking experience in Kalimantan with my friends, you know how sweaty sporting could get. To mind you, I was wearing a chiffon crepe hijab, the material is not really good at hiding your sweat unless you wash it away. Thank God I wore Lafiye Pou Inner Hijab, I could save my scarf to wear the next day! I even wore it when we hiked back down the valley, boat riding, took long walks, nothing unwanted happened! My hijab stayed on point and sweatless, my friends had to compliment on how I managed to keep it in shape from the start till the end of the “journey”. This inner hijab is really life saving, I’m satisfied! It made me realized that wearing the right underscarf also really helps enhance my appearance. Suddenly I love wearing underscarf and it’s definitely a go-to. Pou Inner Hijab has been getting good reviews, people are satisfied, and I’m glad! Pou Inner Hijab series is definitely going to launch more in other colors and types, following by more Pou series such as cuffs. Can’t wait to try out more!
